Europe: demand for sustainability at an all-time high
Consumers in Europe are more focused than ever on optimizing the energy efficiency of their homes. According to a European consumer monitor survey of 6,600 households, nearly 60% are seeking ways to improve their homes’ energy efficiency – an increase of 10% within three years. Overall, the willingness to invest has risen in the eleven countries surveyed. However, interest in and willingness to spend on energy-efficient renovations has stagnated in Germany.
