In this interview, Prof. Dr. Wilhelm Mosgöller, the project leader of the ATHEM-3 research project, discusses the findings on oxidative stress and genetic instability in residents living near cell towers. After more than 5 years of exposure, those residents living closer to cell towers showed significantly higher levels of chromosomal aberrations at levels many times lower than the official exposure limits.
